I was driving my car when it suddenly stopped in middle of road, with a traction yellow sign on meter screen. After 5 or 6 attempts I was able to start. I came home and it was showing EPS, Traction and engine check light. It wasn't starting after that. I had to call a mechanic and he attached a booster with my car and it started immediately and he said it is a battery problem.
Now I have ordered a new battery but my car RPM's is a bit lower than normal and it is going up and down and making the car shiver, plus the pick up is not the same.

I was going to get it checked by one of the mechanics.
any advice what the problem can be?

Thanks

Welcome to 2CarPros.

It makes sense that if the battery was getting weak, the lights could have come on. Now, any time you replace the battery, there is a relearn period until the computer resets itself. How long has this been happening?

Next, since the battery is new, there still could be a charging problem. Here is a quick link that explains how to check the charging system (alternator). It takes about 2 minutes.

Here are a few links you may find helpful when checking the alternator. I suggest doing this just so we know it's working.

Let me know if any of this helps or if you have other questions.
