I've been having some problems with my 2004 jeep grand cherokee, when I turn it on it while only stay running if I keep some amount of pressure on the gas pedal. I have changed the IAC valve and cleaned out the valve on top of the engine, the transmission fluid is a little low not enough to add more. More prominent when it's cold but happens a little after running when not.

This is a very common problem after the battery has been disconnected or run dead. Most of what is in the Engine Computer's memory will be relearned right away, except for "minimum throttle". Until that is learned, idle speed will be too low and cause exactly the symptoms you described.

To meet the conditions for the relearn to take place, drive at highway speed with the engine warmed up, then coast for at least seven seconds without touching the pedals.
