Code P1336, this code was nonexistent?

My vehicle listed above has a coolant leak and damaged the engine. Ford had the extended warranty, so they fixed the engine, but a new code came up to them, P1336. This code was nonexistent until they manipulated the engine. Why could this happen?

The P1336 code in a 2017 Ford Escape is generally related to the crankshaft position sensor performance. So, it looks like the wiring/connector is damaged or the sensor is no good, here is the location of the sensor so you can see what needs to be done or what to look for to help fix it yourself.
