will an audi a3 2.0tdi bkd engine from a dsg gearbox work with a manual gearbox?

From what little information Audi has about them it appears the crankshaft is different in design to use the DSG flywheel. But they do not have clear information on the parts outside of Germany for the diesels as they do not sell them in the US. I doubt they build different engines to match the transmissions, more likely you need to change a couple parts.
