Recently installed a spoiler and when I open the boot it touches the rear windshield?

On the dash, my engine light, cruise control and traction control are all lit up. However, every week or so it goes back to normal (no longer on the dash). Now I'm wondering if that's going to be an issue with the car or is it okay to keep driving it. Another question, I recently installed a spoiler and when I open the boot it touches the rear windshield. How do I resolve this problem? Thanks!

Hi,

It sounds like the spoiler is too large. Are you able to get me a pic of what is happening and upload it for me to see?

As far as the lights are concerned, when they are lit, have the computer scanned for diagnostic trouble codes. If the lights are on, there will be codes present that will point us in the right direction. It's hard to know if it is okay to keep driving because we aren't sure yet what is causing the lights to turn on. You may have a wheel speed sensor or something simple failing, but if you don't scan it, it will become a guessing game.

If you want to test each wheel speed sensor, you can do it with a multimeter.
