Healthy spark at coil, no spark at plugs. New distributor cap and rotor and rotor turns when cranking. Tony

Good morning,

Check the coil wire and make sure it is sending a spark to the distributor cap. If you have spark at the coil and not the plugs and you have a new cap and rotor, then it sounds like wires.

Got it.

If you have spark coming out of the top of the coil, then the only thing left is the wires themselves.

Yes, but the rotor and spark don't make spark at the right place anymore or time anymore.

So the spark is too far away from the contacts probably in between the contacts somewhere. Tony

This could be a bad distributor. The shaft may be worn out.

It happened all off a sudden I thought it was a spark sync pulse change from the timing so the coil sparks at the wrong time now.

You said no spark to the plugs. That's not timing.

How did you test the leads?
