C2500. Everything worked fine until one night all of a sudden my audible alarm sounded and I lost my dash lights. It also took out my gauges (battery, temperature, oil, gas). If I turned the lights off it quits. Drove it home. Next day replaced ctsy fuse. It blew. Messing around I found that if I set the parking brake it wouldn't blow the fuse. I drove it the fuse blew later that day. I then found out that if I turned the dimmer control switch all the way down the alarm wouldn't sound. So I drove it like that until it shut off. That's when I found out it wasn't charging. After that it started blowing my tachometer and speedometer. Pulled dimmer ctrl switch and ip cluster. Still blowing ctsy fuse but gauge fuse didn't. Still wasn't charging but no fuse blown. Alt checks out fine. I just can't be the only one this has happened to. Help!

Hello,

Blowing the CTSY fuse is the problem because it feeds the BCM as well. Here is the fuse wiring diagrams I suggest checking everything on the circuit to see if you can find the melts light socket etc. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
