Climate control on causes climate control led to flash on and off?

Car runs fine until I turn on climate control. Turning climate control on causes climate control led to flash on and off and all of the TPMS dash lights to flash and signal lights to flash double time when used. If I connect an ODB analyzer everything runs fine. If I turn off the climate control everything else seems to intermittently not work. Could be windows or signal lights or sun roof. So far, plugging in the ODM analyzer and leaving it plugged in, corrects everything.

This sounds like you have a communication network issue.

You have what is called a CAN bus network that will act like a highway where all the modules use to talk to the other modules.

So, at this point what we need to do is start with a scan tool that can communicate with each module and find out if they are able to operate properly on this network.

below you will find the wiring diagram of this network that will help but we need to perform this function and find out what happens so that we can take next steps.

Turned out to be a loose (and by loose, I mean less than one-half turn) ground on the upper left side of the dashboard which can be accessed by taking off a side panel. Lots of grounding wires here and must have been just loose enough for oxidation to take over. Not a problem at all since tightening the screw.
