Hi, I have a few issues going on. First when I turn my headlights on, my driver side window automatically goes down, but not every time, usually only when it’s raining, which sucks. Second, my ac was turning on for no reason, I usually ride with my windows down and sunroof open. But now nothing blows- no defrost, ac, heat. I think I may have a short somewhere bc the ac used to turn off and on repeatedly like hitting a light switch off and on and then stop, either in on or off position, and you couldn’t turn it off or on manually. It was stuck that way til next time you drove. I just don’t know much at all about electrical wiring, relays or how to troubleshoot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It sounds like you have an aftermarket alarm system, correct? If so, it is going bad, so I would remove it and reconnect the wiring as it should be from the factory. There is no other correlation between the headlights and windows.

I do have an alarm but I’m not sure if it’s aftermarket or not. I bought the car used and it came with it. I’ll look into that. Thanks. What about the A/C issues? The turning off and on intermittently, for no reason and now nothing comes out for AC/heat/defrost. I ordered a new blower motor with fan already, but it seems like there is a short somewhere in the wiring. Any idea where I should start checking? Thanks again.

If you upload an image of the fob, I can tell you if it is aftermarket.
