Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Does anything work on the instrument panel? Also, when you say no lights, are you referring to the instrument panel lights or head/tail lights? Have you checked any fuses?

In the trunk, there is a 20 amp cluster fuse which is for the instrument cluster. Check it. (see picture 1)

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Joe

Hi Joe, yes I have tail lights, it is just the instrument panel. I am on the verge of buying this vehicle. The man who owns the car seems to think it is the fuses. I am afraid to invest $1,800.00 dollars then might have to spend more money to get it fixed. If it is only a few fuses that would be fine.

Welcome back:

It could be as simple as a fuse, however, it could be more involved. Check the fuse I suggested and all fuses in the box.

What worries me is this. If he says he thinks it is a simple fuse, why did he not already replace it. It would make the vehicle easier to sell and worth more.

Always remember the old saying, "Buyer Beware". Would he allow you to have it checked by a mechanic?

Please feel free to let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Take care,

Joe
