Why would the airbag light still be on after replacing the clock spring?

Hello,

First you need to make sure the issue is indeed the clock spring.
Also, after replacement of the faulty component you will need to reset the air bag light. As most of the vehicles the air bag light will not go off unless it gets reset.

To reset the light, it will need a scanner that is able to read and clear air bag codes.

Let me know what code you first received for the air bag light.

Thank you.
