How do you get into these on-board codes and what are they. I know about the holding of the "off" and "warmer" buttons together to get into the check, but how do you proceed after that? i.e. how do you check each code, if possible. i.e. how do you clear any/all codes ? Do you want to clear a code or leave it for the repair tech? I suspect the latter.

Appreciate any help in this matter. I want to make a printed copy of the codes and how to use them for my repair person.

If you are trying to get engine codes use a paper clip on A and B on aldl below steering column left side and turn key on then count flashes 1=1 then 2=2 equals 12 which is normal. See picture for getting codes from heater. to exit through heater press auto and turn key off for ten seconds. See pictures.

What does "aldl" mean? What do you look at to see the codes that come up, if any ? I.E., what does code 141 or 148 mean ? I think it has something to do with the A/C ???

aldl is the diagnostic link that a scanner plugs into at bottom left of steering column it will have about 12-14 connectors in it for a scanner to hook up if you dash doesn't work a scanner will to read codes as long as the place has an adapter for it. there are only two number codes not three

Hello,

I have found the codes you are looking for and how to clear the system. (below)

Trouble codes can be cleared by entering self-diagnostic mode. Press "OFF" and "LO" buttons on control panel simultaneously and hold buttons until "00" appears.

I would leave the codes if you are taking it in for repairs.

Thank you for your service to our country sir.

Cheers, Ken
