I tried installing an aftermarket stereo/cd player (Pioneer) into my 95 Eagle Vision. After getting it all hooked up, every time I turn on the headlights when the radio is plugged in I blow the fuse that the tail lights and dashlights are on. The radio continues to work after the fuse is blown. Do you have any idea of what this might be?

You tied the ground for radio into tail light circuit.

All I've done is cut the wires that were connected to the factory harness, and connected a new wiring harness for the new stereo. Is there some way to know which wire is causing the problem? I'm a little confused due to the fact that all I've done is attached a new wiring harness, and I don't know how the ground would somehow be connected to the tail light circuit.

Are you blowing fuse # 9? If yes check what would have been terminal #3 oh stock radio plug an Orange wire what is hooked to it? This runs directly to headlight switch and fuse. This powers up to turn radio light on with headlights.

Okay thanks, that helps. Would you happen to have the list of which wires tie to which wires when hooking up the new wiring harness? I appreciate your help.
