Dying Truck

The truck will start and run just fine when it is in neutral, but as soon as I put it into gear and start to let off the clutch it sputters and dies, but if I let off the gas and push the clutch in it will stay running. This is my only transportation, and I need to find out what is wrong with it.

check for a carburetor problem. It probably needs to be overhauled due to today's fuel. Also, check for a vacuum leak, assuming everything else is good.
