How do I know if my 2.2L Petrol Vauxhall Signum (56 Plate) has a standard or a dual mass flywheel? The clutch is wearing out and my garage says they cannot tell how much to replace as if the flywheel is dual mass, they automatically replace that too. Thus significantly ups the cost.

Yep, the dual mass costs more. Here is a video of the job being done with the replacement of the dual mass flywheel on a similar car.

I think we paid $350.00 for the flywheel.

This guide can help as well.

Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
