Hello, my car listed above, CVT won't move forward in drive until warmed up. It just revs as if it was in neutral. Then it throws the code p1885. How do I fix this please?

Code P1885 the A/T drive pulley speed sensor circuit open or shorted to ground. The speed sensor needs to be replaced. We should check the transmission fluid as well. If after the fluid has been changed and the speed sensor replaced, and it is still acting up it sounds like the transmission might need to be rebuilt but let's do it one step at a time. Here is the sensor location so you can replace it:

Fluid Types

A/T Fluid

Type. Honda ATF-Z1

Honda Service News Notice:

If you're replacing transmission fluid in a CVT-equipped vehicle, or just topping it off, make sure you're using the new CVT fluid (P/N 08200-9006). From here on, DON'T put ATF-Z1 in a CVT. If you're topping off a CVT that's already got ATF-Z1, there's no need for concern; this fluid is compatible with ATF-Z1. All CVT-equipped Hondas starting with the 2006 models and onward will be factory-filled with the new CVT fluid.

Capacities
