When driving fifty MPH or more the transmission will not shift into a higher gear?

At higher speeds the car doesn’t want to shift to a higher gear, so the tachometer is reading higher, and the engine is working harder to go. Lower speeds it shifts okay, but when I go to about 50 and higher it will not shift to the higher gear. Please help.

This sounds like you have a turbine shaft sensor that is going out, but we should run the codes first to see what comes up. This guide will help. The location of the sensor is in the diagrams below.
