The only thing that can be done at this point is to remove the door panel and open it manually from the broken linkage. Since the door is closed, this isn't an easy task.
I have attached two pics below. The first is an exploded view of the door panel, clips, and screws that need removed. Pic 2 show the steps for panel to be removed. This is going to be tight, but what I suggest is this. In the first pic, notice I circled two items. Those are linkage rods between the inside door handle and the latch assembly. One is for the lock and the other to open the door. Confirm that the one that opens the door isn't unhooked or the handle isn't broken. If you pull on the one attached to the hand, it should open the door.
Try this and let me know what you find.
