Door lock replacement different than your video?

I need to remove the driver's side door lock. I used your video "Door Lock Replacement Toyota 4Runner 1995-2002" as a reference. The problem is my car has a wire harness connected to the back of the lock cylinder which your video does not show. I think it's part of the key fob remote system (but I honestly have no idea). Your video says to "remove the door handle - it may take a little maneuvering and wiggling". Because of the wire harness, there's no way to wiggle the handle assembly out of the hole and no clear disconnection point for the wires.
i can't find any videos about door handle removal that include this connected wire harness. Can you help?

Can you upload an image of the problem, does it look stock or aftermarket? This is all they give us in the manual. Here is the video in question
