Yesterday I was driving my stratus.82,000miles on it and all the sudden it sounded like in the back end something broke there was a clanking noise and if I drove over 15miles an hour my car would start to shake really bad. I looked under the car nothing seemed to be hanging or broken, I was wondering if you had any suggestions as to what may be wrong?

The rear strut mount has broken. The mount is made of aluminium and tends to buy the farm between 80-100 thousand miles. It is best to replace the entire strut system 2-300 for one side then save your pennies becuase the other side will eat it too.
