2006 Dodge Stratus Weird Noise

2006 Dodge Stratus

While sitting in the car, I heard a bubbling sound. I check under the hood and it was definitely coming from my car. It sounded like a gurgling sound-almost like the sound of something boiling on the stove. It went away after less than a few minutes but I've never heard that sound before. What could it be and how do I fix it?

Hi there, i would start with changing the thermostat and flushing the coolant as this may be localised boiling in the block due to a faulty thermostat, also check the pressure cap is serviceable, start here.
