My remote won't disable the thief system on my car. I replace the battrey in my remote. But again, I can not start my car, as the thief system continues with the directional and rear lights flashing. I cannot, disable the system, by placing the key in the door, and or the inginition. I had to go under my car, and manually start my car with two screw drivers through the starter, to get it home. I need to know, what I need to replace, in order to have my remote work accordingly. Help me.

Something doesn't add up. The anti-theft system cuts off the fuel. If you can jump the starter and the engine runs, it's not in anti-theft mode.

If you hear one kind of loud clunk from the starter, but it doesn't spin the engine, suspect worn contacts in the solenoid. The contacts can be replaced, but most people just replace the entire starter.
