I have an ODB2 tester but cannot locate where to plug it in. I feel like an idiot. Is there a ODB2 connection port or do I have to use a voltmeter.

It probably dosnt have an obdII port. ObdII was not required by the govt untill 96. If it dosnt have one you can generate the codes through blinks of the check engine light by turning the key from off to on to off three times leaving it in the on position on the third cycle. The check engine light will blink and then pause and then blink untill it spits out all the codes. The codes are all two digits. So for example it will blink 3 times pause for a second and then blink 6 times. The code would be 36. Im not sure in the refrence of the numbers tho. You would be best to contact the dealer for a list of which numbers mean what.

Do what mitsuma06 said

you probably have the old system, and don't even need a scan tool.
