1991 Dodge Stealth 5th gear slippage

Hi,

I am trying to figure out why my car slips out of 5th gear. I notice it on the highway. Dont really use 5th gear around town. It seems like it happens to other people with Dodge stealth as well. It is the transmission or clutch, or other?

If you mean it "pops" out of gear, the problem is either that the shifter isnt getting it all the way into gear, or the trans is having a mechanical issue. Most likely the latter of the two if all other gears work fine
