heat n a/c doesn't come out of the dash vents is it a vacum hose or the switchs are bad or something other then that

It could be one or the other. The best thing to do is start at the engine and work your way through the firewall. Check all vacuum lines. There will be a hissing noise if you find the leak. If all lines are good, then move to the switch.
