About 2 months ago we replaced all the brake pads on my truck because I couldn't stand the squeaking noise. The pads were actually in pretty good shape, only about 1/2 way worn.
We had the rotors turned at NAPA and replaced one that looked bad on the left front. Since we changed
the brakes the noise is way worse. Horribly loud. Last week I noticed when I brake a little harder, like a quick stop the truck is pulling to the right. What could be my problem? Why would new brakes squeak so much?

Are the rear brakes properly adjusted? Did you have the rear drums cut? As far as the noise, if the rear drums were not, they could be causing the noise. Also, was the brake hardware replaced? There are silencers that are part of the hardware. And finally, they make a product that can be placed on the rear of the brake pads to quiet them.

Actually, it sounds as though the squealing is coming from the front brakes, actually sounds like both fronts. What other hardware should have been replaced when we replaced the pads. We did in fact have all rotors turned, fronts and rears.
