Hooked up to Auto Zone tester, check engine light was on. Reading was as follows: PO6O1, internal control, module memory, check sum error. They didn't know what this meant and suggested I ask you. I replaced the front control module that was attached to the power distribution center. That fixed what was wrong but now the check engine light comes on periodically. It doesn't stay on all the time but when it comes on it's not blinking.
thankyou

Have you had the computer again to see if the code has changed?

If it is still coming on, there may be a simple explaination for it. Have you had it scanned since?

I have not had it scanned. Who can do that? Now the check engine light has gone out! Will it reset itself? I don't drive this truck very often, only when I pull my trailer.

Most nationally recgnized parts stores will scan it for free. However, if it is off, stays off, and is running good, let it go.
