Are you able to get them premade, or do you have to bend them yourself? Also, use line wrenches to loosten and tighten them.

I was able to get pre-made upper and lower lines from Napa (original equipment) for $56.05 complete. I had to buy a 3/4" line wrench (for transmission ends) $10.99. I'm waiting for another tool I had to order on-line( Dodge tool #6047) this tool is used to release the rubber end of the lines from the radiator. $16.90. Got Hi-temp thread lock for transmission ends. Also several quarts of new transmission fluid. Everything costed about $120.00. Will I have to put the truck on a lift to remove and install both lines? Or can I do this in my driveway? Will anything underneath have to get removed to access the lines? Thankyou for any advice. Chris B.

Chris:
First, I'm glad you got the lines pre formed. It's a pain to bend them. As far as woking on the ground, the truck should be high enough for you to do it. I
t would be nice to have a lift, but it can be done on your back. As far as removing things, if your truck has any skid plates under it, you will need to remove them. Otherwise, it is just a matter of rerouting the new lines in place of the old ones. You should be fine. It sounds like you've done your homework.

IF you have other questions, let me know.

Joe

NOTE: I always like to tell people to disconnect the battery. WHen you are sliding the lines around the engine, you can short them out on the starter by accident.
