1997 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I was under my truck just giving a monthly once over and I noticed a unknown liquid covering the right side of the tank. It appears to be traveling down the tank and towards the front of the vehicle and it has no real smell or odor and appears to be greenish in color. The origin of the leak or spill starts at the top of the tank and out of view. I don't seam to have any fuel related issues concerning performance. (at the point). It starts fine, idles fine, it chugs a little bit up steep grades.

Thank you for your input, but I think I found the problem. (Although I'm going to look at the tank seals as a precaution) It appears as though there is lubricant leaking from where the drive shaft meets the rear axle gear hub. The spinning of the shaft was throwing the oil/lube onto the gas tank. I noticed a leak just right now in my drive way and it's directly under (and coming off of) the drive shaft.

Again thanks for all your help!
