Hi, my husband is currently deployed overseas so I have been trying to take care of many things on my truck that need fixing, I thought I might be able to get some answers that could help me here. I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4, stick shift, 5.2 with about 119000 miles on it. It is making a loud squeaking, metal rubbing noise on the drivers side, I thought it might have been the breaks so I had them replaced along with the rotor and the caliber. It still makes the loud squealing noise when test drive it.I have only driven it to test drive it after installing the new items I mentioned. I did not mess with the bearings but they looked like they had plenty of grease on them and they did not look worn. I was thinking that maybe it was the axle hub that might be messed up. I would love your opinion on this if possible. If any of these need replacing is there a special tool needed or will it be a costly thing to replace. Thanks for reading my question and I hope you can help me with my problem.
Thank you
victoria

Front and rear brakes ok? Did you do this yourself or have a shop do it? If a shop did it, do they have an opinion on the noise? Could be bearings, noises are the hardest to do online.
