1996 Dodge Ram transfer case

i have a 4 wheel drive and i would like to find out what i have to do to get it out of four wheel drive low. the transfer case is stuck in 4 low it shifts in all gears before you even get it to 20 mph and if i go any faster it will red line on the tackometer. how can i fix this my self ?

First, that is all the faster the truck is designed to go in lo-loc. Don't try to go faster or you will damage the engine. I need to know if you have an electric shift 4wd or the manual shifter on the floor.
