tire come off the rim when driving

2002 Dodge Neon - 50,230 miles - 4 cly

We had a tire come off the rim when driving, we put on the spare only to have it also come off the rim...the car is parked now, would like to know what causes a tire to come off the rim twice....

it seemed to be drving OK

Hi there,

You may have the incorrect tyre fitted to the rim, or the rim's may be damaged, take to tyre service and they will advise on what to do after viewing the tyre and rim.

to low of air pressure, or a bent rim. also wrong size tire will cause it to come off.
