The engine light on my 2004 Dodge Neon has been going off and on, but never showing any problems with performance. Then I noticed that when the car is trying to switch gears, that's when a problem occurs. When it has to go over 2 rebs, it gets stuck and I can't drive past 30 mph until the rebs go down. Once I'm over 40 mph, then it can go over 2 rebs without a problem. This doesn't happen everytime I drive, only sometimes. And there's not a consistent pattern as to when it decides to happen. What does this mean?
