First thought is a wheel bearing issue. What speeds does that happen at?

HI. From a slow start to any speed it makes the noise. When I go around a left turn it goes away. But not a right turn or when driving straight

IF it sounds like a roar, then it is probably a wheel bearing gone bad. Check for play in any of the wheels.

Yes it is a roaring sound. Recently rotated tires and did actually check for any play and seemed tight. Should I go ahead and replace them anyways?

No, you need to determine which one is bad.

There may be play now as the pitting will continue to get worse. Generally you can tell which side it is coming from, if you can, then yes replace that bearing, if not you need to verify it. Or risk replacing the wrong one.

You can verify it with a set of chassis ears.

You can also verify it if it is in the front by raising the front end in a safe manner, putting it in drive and comparing the two sides with a stethescope.
