When I drive up a slight incline the transmission, I assume, slips and the car coasts for a moment and then lurches forward when it cathces again. The tranmission was rebuilt 2 years ago, and has recently strated to act up again. Should the bands be retightened or is the tranny going out again? Also will worn out motor mounts cause the hard shifting in the vehicle?

Hi there, there are no major adjustments on these transmissions, i would go see a transmission specialist for a test & report first, the mounts wont affect the transmission shift patterns. This guide can help
