2000 Dodge Neon oil light

My oil light comes on and dings at me when I drive for awhile. It stops when I speed up and starts when I come to a stop. Can you help me?

Yes more than likely your low on oil, I would have the oil changed and filled to the proper, level. If this doesnt solve your problem then Its more than likely your oil pressure sending unit. But adress this immediately, you don't want to keep driving with low oil, you can damage your car beyond repair.

I am having the same exact problem with my Neon. I have a 2000 with about 125000 miles on it. My oil is never low, so we are going to try and replace the sending unit and see if that works. I'll let you know if it does.
