Transmission problem
1999 Dodge Neon 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 142000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My car does not start at all. No power. Then I started it one day, a week later. Drove it to my stepfather's auto body and we thought it was the starter. we replaced it. then he has his buddy hook the diagnostic machine to it and it said it was the neutral safety switch. he replaced it and it still didn't start. he hooked the diagnostic machine back uo to it and still said it was the neutral safety switch. is there some kind of wire problem or something?

sounds like you need a new wiring harness. there may be a short or cut wire in it, which would explain why the code keeps coming back up even if it was replaced.
