I have a minor engine oil leak. How much will it cost for parts and labor to repair?

Well the leak is underneath in the middle of the car. I did take it to a local mechanic and he said they would have to take the entire engine and transmission out to repair, costing around $600.

Well unfortunately the leak he is talking about is the head gasket, and it leaks on all these engines. Your price to repair is pretty much right on the money, if he does the job right. Sorry
