Windshield wiper not functioning

Windshield wipers stopped functioning. Have checked all fuses. Have replaced multifunctional switch on steering column. Ran 12 volts direct to wiper motor. Motor did work. 1996 Dodge Intrepid

Most likely needs a new wiper motor, which is a pretty easy install. It will be located on the back firewall and should come off with just a few bolts. When you install the new one make sure to align it just as the previouse motor was aligned or the wipers won't sit properly.
