can you tell me what is all the things that can make a car battery get drained or go dead. Now my water pump wentout so when I changed it and put the timing belt back on if it is not set rightwill it drain my car battery

Can you tell me what is all the things that can make a car battery get drained or go dead

Get the battery and alternator load tested if okay look for a short circuit that's draining the battery overnite
