If you have a wire touching metal somewhere the fuse will blow at weird times when you make a turn or use something. Did you happen to ask them what the fault codes the computer was telling them? The transmission's computer stores a code to tell you what wiring is not right. Call and ask them what code they got, get back to me, ok?

If your still having problems it should be coming up with fault codes that the TCM or PCM are storing, this is the way we locate problems that cause sudden downshifts or no upshifts, the transmission control module itself may even have an internal fault requiring replacement. It's best to see what codes he had. I'm here all the time, let me know if I can advise you or give you code interpretations. Ok
