My odometer lights up but does not tick over miles mostly in weather below 60 deg F. It does, however, (at each mile) trip a gauge check running each gauge to about 70% scale, thru the drive position settings and finish with the seatbelt sign illuminating as if start-up. This happens at the end of EACH mile. It also resets the trip computer to "o" again each time. The temperature effect seams getting worse. Thru winter the engine would warm enough to start working then quit again when cools off. Playing with in cabin temp indicates that the problem is outside (cabin temp has no effect). Appearantly there is a connection somewhere that "shrinks away" when cold and makes contact when hot. I've examined connections to the computer, instrument panel and I think all related points on the engine and transmission. I certainly don't want to just start replacing electronics till it's fixed.
Thank you,
Bob

These can be real tricky to find, sometimes a magnifier used on the IP cluster removed from the vehicle can find loose pins where the harness attaches to the circuit boards, check all pins and resolder any loose ones, they may feel tight but can actually spin, and not wiggle!
