2007 Dodge Dakota battery image?

I just bought this used Dakota. All of a sudden the truck didn't start and needed to be "jumped". And now there is a symbol on the electrical panel in front of the driver. The symbol looks square with small lines coming out of it. Is this the battery symbol? And, if so does it signify my needing to replace the battery or is there something else wrong? The previous owner did not supply me with an owner's manual.
