I recently put a new thermostat in and for a few weeks everything was fine. Now my temp gauge immediatly starts to rise the second I get on the highway increasing with speed and immediatly goes down to normal the second it comes off the highway? Any suggestions?

Are you sure the coolant is full? Also, I need you to check to make sure the upper and lower radiator hoses are not collapsing when the engine is reved. When the engine gets hot, stop, open the hood, and check the hoses. If you have a helper, have them lightly rev the engine while you watch the hoses.

Let me know what you find.

Yes thank you for the response. Coolant level is fine and hoses show absolutely no sign of collapsing.?
