hey im having a problem with my dakota it just wont stay on. when i start it it will start but cuts right back off if i give it alot of gas it will stay on but as soon as i let up it drops to 1000 rpms then shuts of it also doesnt run very smooth when i am reving it.. and help would be appreciated thank you..dana carrier

The way you describe your problem is not enough or too much fuel. Fuel management is controlled by a powertrain control module and this module is tested with another diagnostic module found at all Dodge dealerships and most repair shops.
