I recently moved and I didn't have a vehicle. So I bought a 98 Dodge Dakota just to get around untill I get something nicer. It's a nice enough truck but I bought it used of course and it was from Vermont so there is a good bit of rust on it. Anyway theres a noticeable clicking sound when when I'm driving. I can hear it coming from the drivers side of the engine. I originally thought it was an exhaust leake but I had that fixed and it's still doing it. So I was just checking stuff out the other day and I noticed that one of the spark plugs on the drivers side of the engine is loose. I took it out and it's like the hole that the spark plugs screws into is stripped so it wont tighted all the way. The truck runs and thats all I need it to do but I wonder what I could do to temporaroly fix it. I dont know what kind of damage it could do to the engine and I dont know what to do to fix it that would have less of a chance of damaging the engine. Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

Not to much damage, youll just have alot of power loss and bad fuel mileage along with a bad miss, you should take it to a machine shop and have them plug the hole and rebore it.
