Leaking in the front could be a front pump seal. Very inexpensive part but the transmission must be removed to replace it. Typically, the rubber gets hard with age and heat. It rarely causes a problem until someone removes the engine or the transmission. The heavy torque converter drops a little if it's not supported and cracks the hardened seal.

There is also a vent in the area of the front seal. Fluid will foam out of the vent if it is over-filled.
