2005 Dodge Caravan steering locking up

when the steering is turn all the way to the right it gets stuck,i can force free but it pops and cracks.thenit will work ok for a minute but does it again when it gets hot .it also forces fluid out of resovoir. could this be my rack worn out?

IT sounds like the rack is binding. There are bushings that go bad and can cause the steering to stick.

Also, make sure you have checked all steering components and ball joints.
