2004 Dodge Grand Caravan, 82,000, V6 engine:
When Im driving steady in any gear between 1300 and 2000 rpm, the rpm bogs back and forth, anything over 2000 rpm it will run smooth, also letting off the gas it will run smooth, it only happens when its in gear, what could this be and how can I fix it? Thanks so much for the info, I made a small donation and look foward to making a larger donation soon!

I would start by pulling codes from the computer. It soulds like a transmission issue such as a sticking valve or solenoid problem. I know these transmission need frequent filter and fluid changes.

You will need a code reader available at most autoparts stores. OR some parts stores will read them, OR still yet a shop will for a charge.

There may not be any in there, but that is where I would start.

Does this happen all the time, whether cold or hot?

Have there been any repairs done recently since this started.

When was the transmission fluid and filter last changed?

Is the transmisssion fluid level good?

HAs the battery been changed?

Sorry for the questions, but I really need somthing that I can start tieing together. I don't know if this is a performance or transmission issue at this point.
