Rear wiper quit working

Few months ago my rear wiper quit working. My husband got a new one but it still would not work. He changed the fuse and the switch. It still would not work. Than a month or so later my radio went hay wire. It would work when you first got in the car but then you could not change the channel turn it up or anything. Once the car was shut off it would not come on the rest of the day. It does not show the time or anything. And now it only comes on every couple days. Do you think it could be the wiring somewhere? We are out of answers. It is a SE model with not quite 100,000 miles on it. Do you have any answers? Thanks

Engine light is on/code reads small evaporative leak. Changed VAP sensor. Changed gas cap. Reset engine light on, stayed off for couple days and came back on with the same code.

At this point the following have failed:
1. The turn signals. The four way flashers still work. Leading up to permanent failure I would select the right turn and the right side light would blink. I would select to left turn signal and the right side lights would blink.

2. Sometime I would select either turn signal and the front wipers would come on. Now the front wipers do not work at all.

3. Just prior to permanent failure I could turn on the high beams but could not turn them off unless I turned off the head lights. The high beams still work but there is a one to two second delay.

Can you help?

Seems like there is a fault with the front control module. If you use a scan tool, you should be able to get something out of it.

Start by checking all of the fuse with a test light. Then check for voltage going to the switches and socket.

My radio, blower motor and wipers stop working after five minutes when van is running but work with key in run position without the engine running. They will work again after some time. These are the only electronics effected.

It sounds like there may be a problem with the ignition switch. I would have that checked for adjustment and function.

The wipers and windows do not work when the van is running, but if I turn the van off, the wipers and windows function normally. Why?

Check the ignition switch. That is where the power comes from.

When I turn on windshield wipers on my van they do not work. There is a humm or grind sound. The sound last for about ten to twenty seconds before stopping. The back wipers work fine.

We just had a bad rain storm with lightning. I think lightning hit close to the car. The car runs however, the power windows, radio, windshield wipers, lights, A/C do not work. Also, noticed the back right tire was flat. The mechanics have been checking it over, but cannot figure out what the problem is. Help!

I would think if the vehicle was struck by lightening, it would not run either. Were all the main fuses checked in the power distribution box?

Hello, when the problem occurs, track a single circuit. When the windows refuse to work, pull the window circuit breaker, use a testlight, check for voltage. Nothing, check the accessory relay at the integrated power module. That relay should be energized with the key in run/acc.

I would have to backtrack the circuit, to find the problem.
